Welcome to Our Website

Gardenscapes Nursery is a retail nursery and landscape design/install enterprise, conveniently located on 7.5 acres in Oberlin, OH. We feature hundreds of field grown and container grown plants along with products and sincere knowledgeable people that want to help you and your plants thrive. We encourage people to join us in the quest to make the planet greener by planting native plants that flourish with little watering, once established, and no chemical products needed. We are advocates of composting and we also sell and use rain barrels.

We are proud to be a distributor of 100% Organic Sweet Peet.  Sweet Peet is the most versatile organic material available.  Any time that the soil condition is compacted, full of clay, lacking humus and nutrients, Sweet Peet will dramatically help loosen, fortify and balance the soil’s chemistry. We understand that healthy soil makes healthy plants.

 HELP SAVE THE MONARCH BUTTERFLY

Monarch populations have fallen dramatically.  The monarch population is typically measured by the number of acres of pine trees the butterflies fill the forests of Mexico.  This year, due to climate change and other factors, scientists found the smallest area of monarchs over-wintering in 16 years.  What can we do?  The host plant for the monarchs is Asclepias tuberosa (Butterfly Weed).  It is a native flowering perennial that is essential to the migration and existence of the monarchs.  As a certified wildlife habitat, we feel it our duty to help save the monarch butterly.  Please tell your friends and neighbors, community leaders, restaurant and gas station owners to plant the the Butterfly Weed and help save the monarchs.
